We Recommend . . .
. . . two photographers, if your budget will allow. One photographer has one set of eyes and can only be in one place at a time. A second photographer adds another perspective and allows for candid shots while the main photographer is getting the posed group shots. Additionally, the second photographer can be getting those all important detail shots of the room, the tables, and the cake while the main photographer is working on getting shots elsewhere.
. . . two videographers, if your budget will allow. A second camera offers a second angle which eliminates monotony when viewing the finished product. In addition, two videographers can cover more ground and get more footage during the all important pre-ceremony preparation and post-ceremony pictures, cocktail hour and reception.
. . . if at all possible, let the photographers/videographers begin shooting about two hours prior to the start of the ceremony. Very often, this is some of the most memorable capture of the day.
. . . saving on cost by not keeping the photo or video crew until the end of the reception. With some forethought and planning, everything that needs to be captured by the photographers and videographers can be completed 1-1/2 to 2 hours prior to the end of your reception.
. . . comparing photographers and videographers by experience and comparable product, not price. Price can be deceiving, and in most cases, you will only get what you pay for. Don’t leave your memories to chance!
